Product Delivery - UK
Product manufacturers need to deliver the technical information about their products as directly and timely as possible.
Designers need information that is up-to-date, accurate and in a format that fits in with their method of working.
Working with IAI UK, BAA and ASITE, AEC3 have developed a prototype system in which product information, stored in an
eCommerce database can be be delivered as ifcXML formatted property sets by drag-and-drop into a Building Modeling product such as
AutoCAD and ADT 3.3, and checked and scheduled off using existing tools.
